Improve mission-critical resilience
The introduction of unmanned aerial and surface vehicles is revolutionising modern warfare. And yet the effectiveness of these assets is critically undermined if the GNSS positioning and navigation they rely upon is compromised.
Helix Geospace specialise in producing GNSS anti-jamming solutions that address these needs, and in a single compact unit for applicability across a wide variety of military operations.
Criticality of GNSS resilience to UAV-based operations

Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) are fundamental to military & security operations and in particular for missions using drones and other Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
The military UAV market has witnessed significant operational deployments over the past 12-18mths with more than 110 countries incorporating UAVs into their armed forces across a range of applications including ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance), combat operations, target acquisition, electronic warfare, and logistics.
Any disruption to GNSS can degrade positional accuracy causing UAVs to lose orientation, drift off course, and ultimately derail missions at critical points, leading to loss of situational awareness, loss of valuable data, and even loss of human life.
Evading GNSS jamming attacks is vital, and yet the solutions that currently exist are often designed for military vehicles and too large, heavy and power hungry for deployment on UAVs, as well as being too expensive, often costing more than the UAV they're intended to protect.
Autonomy at sea
Fully-autonomous operation is also being increasingly introduced at sea given Ukraine’s successful campaign against the Russian Black Sea Fleet - more than 40 countries are expected to be operating unmanned surface vessels (USVs) by 2034.
Most of these are small and medium USVs (primarily surveillance/ISR, mine countermeasures, patrol and interceptor roles), although USVs will constitute a considerable bulk of the US Navy’s overall deployment in the coming years, and by 2045 could represent 45% of their fleet.
CRPxTM Anti-Jamming System – developed with military partners
UAVs and USVs are crucially dependent on absolute realtime location from GNSS, and resilience to countermeasures seeking to undermine this capability.
Helix Geospace’s CRPx has been designed using first-hand knowledge of attack vectors from specialist events (incl. NavWar and Jammertest) and customer requirements in the defence sector to provide best-in-class mitigation of sophisticated jammers.
CRPx has been developed in the UK with full UK/EU/NATO supply chain provenance.
